Gorgeous Gray Kitchen with Yellow Accents

• 04 December 2012

Are you surprised I am posting a non-white-kitchen?  I am!  Perhaps the Pacific Northwest''s color of choice is starting to grow on me, or maybe it's the need to think about something else besides white and more white.  Either way, I am in love with this stunning gray + yellow kitchen and all the pops of color via the pantry door (a great place to pack a colorful punch!), rug, accessories and fresh greens.

A few details I am particularly fond of include the large windows, overhead sconces, stove backsplash and 2" thick, marble countertops.  But truthfully, just about everything here is perfection, including the choice of cookbooks and linens. I'm pretty much ready to move in!

  1. Wow - I love everything about it. As a Seattleite, I resisted grey for a long time but have finally come to my senses. Plus you can always switch up the accent color with bowls, flowers, etc. I love a huge kitchen. A kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom are all we need.

  2. I painted my cabinets a very similar gray a year or so ago and couldn't be happier. It's such a rich color.

  3. Gorgeous. I love the yellow pocket door which I think must lead to a pantry. That is a detail I would love to remember for future reference.

  5. Yes, I love the pocket door in a splashy color. Ingenius. Also, the gray color is "Huffard Gray" I believe (you can double check comments in original post); it's a pretty shade indeed!

  6. I'm with you on this kitchen. Wow!! It's so awesome. My wedding colors were blue and yellow and so are my kitchen colors... and my nursery colors... a pantry is really the ultimate luxury.
