Marianne Williamson said this most inspiring thought:
Our deepest fear is not that we’re inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond all measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world.
Embrace your power woman...so the Motivator says...or at least something like that! This column over at Real Simple is something I look forward to each month. It's like cheap therapy and let's be honest, who couldn't use a little of that every now and again?

I have a copy of that quote (I ran across it just the other day) and it quoted Nelson Mandela as saying that. I wonder if he quoted her, or if she quoted him....or maybe someone else all together is the one we should give credit to. It's a very powerful statement!
ReplyDeleteNelson Mandela said it, and she must have been quoting him. It's actually quite a long quote and the rest is marvelous and inspiring as well! :)
