Meyer Lemon Tree
• 19 March 2008
Remember when I posted about acquiring this little tree? Well, about 3/4 of a year later we have one whole lemon. Yes, one whole lemon. Must be the climate? The good news is that we have 6 more ripening as I write. Around here our fingers are crossed the lemons ripen before the branch breaks because unfortunately, all six are on the same little branch! (insert pat on the back for not killing tree)
So, what to do with our single, hard-earned Meyer lemon. I realize it must be used (and consumed) wisely. I think a special recipe like this would be perfect.
I've always wanted a little lemon tree in my house. I've always worried that I didn't have a suitable space with enough light. How fun for you! I can just smell them!
ReplyDeleteThis is one of the things I cannot wait for.....fun and unusual plants, or trees, IN the house!!!
ReplyDeleteI would LOVE to do this!!! How did you manage to keep it alive?!? (I have, in fact, killed one that was meant for our bedroom)
