Sneak Peek: Seeing the Everyday

• 27 June 2008

I haven't had a chance to read it cover to cover but at first glance, these are my initial impressions of the new Seeing the Everyday magazine:

* fabulous photography
* well-designed pages (pretty graphics, fonts, colors, etc.)
* focuses mainly on the beauty of everyday living
* no ads!

It appears to be the perfect publication for people who genuinely want to take time to cherish every moment of this beautiful life. I think I am going to really enjoy this subscription.

Hey Steph -

Mary (Meyers) Marble here (Kent and Marilyn's niece). I just happened upon your blog from Adrienne's, and I have to say, Wow! What a great blog! And what great taste! I think we have a lot of similar interests - I also love to cook, sew, craft, and especially photography.

We live in So. Colorado now, and when we were in Utah a few weeks ago, we took our kids to the Museum of Art on BYU campus. It was funny, as I passed by the information desk, I remembered all the times that I stopped and talked to you there. It seems like a long time ago, and yet it doesn't, huh?

P.S. My sister is visiting and LOVING this magazine. She can't put it down. I can't wait until I can do the same! Perhaps post-entertaining :)

Mary, it's great to hear from you. I feel like an old person lately b/c I'm always saying and thinking, "I remember when..." and it feels like yesterday. Oh how time flies. If we only knew then how simple life was!

Isn't the MOA a great little museum? What wonderful memories.
