stephmodo: Camp Out Craft

Camp Out Craft

• 16 July 2008

If your kids love camping as much as mine do, perhaps consider making something like this with them before the summer closes. My daughter brought this home from her little summer camp and I personally think it's one of most clever crafts I've ever seen!

You'll need:

paper plate
large yellow post-it note
a few brown pipe cleaners
tissue paper
q-tip
toothpicks
pebbles
paint
faux evergreen branch

I can't get over that q-tip! or that tissue paper fire! This could be an excellent "family night" craft, especially if you do it up right like she does here.

  1. This is absolutely darling--thanks so much for including the supplies and instructions--I would still be trying to figure out the q-tip! Darling! Looks like a great rainy day craft for my crew here.

Thought you might enjoy checking this out given that we share a love for all things IKEA

We took 7 of my kids and 3 of my sis-in-law's to IKEA this week and I posted the results...let's just say it's not as picturesque as your site...(hee hee)...
    Blessings!
