Lucite Accessories

Awhile back House Beautiful published 101 Decorating Makeovers--Small Changes that make a Big Difference. It was a fantastic spread and I saved all 101 tips in my design binder. Curious as to what was no. 1 on the list?

Buy something Lucite. One piece will make any style room tastier--it's like adding salt.

I love that you can add Lucite to any style room--modern, traditional, country, etc. Apparently it's more versatile than I thought. Lucite knock-offs like acrylic are great too; remember, it's all about the look of Lucite. Think of Lucite as the name brand and acrylic as the store brand. Acrylic accessories are less expensive and often easier to come by in the marketplace.

As I contemplate what pieces to add to my living space, I've looked around online and subsequently found a few great accessories along the way.
