CSA Signups

• 02 February 2009

Discovering CSA programs pretty much made my year in 2007. I've never considered missing a year since. Crazy enough, it's time to sign up for 2009 already. I can't believe it! Most CSA's, including the one I belong to (East Farms), offer discounts for early sign-ups.

If you're new to CSA's, you can read a little more about it here.

  6. Okay girls...a few answers to questions...

First, "Anon", the selection was mostly the same each week but it didn't bother me. They try to diversify as much as they can and even participate in trades with another family farm if advantageous.

Liz, East Farms is a great value. We received squash, zucchini, beets, lots of greens in the Spring, etc. We order a half-share for our family and find that works best for us.
