I’m enamored with the wild strawberries offered at all the local markets right now. Those Mara du Bois can be quite addicting so I'd like to make a strawberry tart while I am here. Do you have a good recipe?
This is my favorite tart recipe: http://find.myrecipes.com/recipes/recipefinder.dyn?action=displayRecipe&recipe_id=444746
It's fabulous. I usually break up the steps to make it easier (do the crust and glaze ahead of time). I also often put blueberries around the edge instead of the toasted almonds, but it's delish either way. Enjoy!

I included the link to the very best strawberry tart from Dorie Greenspan. It's amazing--buttery crust, yummy jam, and fresh strawberries. Dollop on a bit of creme fraiche and black pepper. You'll love it. http://cafejohnsonia.blogspot.com/2008/06/twd-la-palettes-strawberry-tart.html
In Martha Stewart Living this month there is a strawberry tart recipe from a Frenchman's grandmother. She made it for him for his birthday every year. It is delish. Enjoy and good luck.
My husband makes a fantastic strawberry tart. I believe he found it in Bo Firberg's pastry cook book here is the link to the book: http://www.amazon.com/Professional-Pastry-Chef-Fundamentals-Baking/dp/0471359254/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1248979355&sr=8-1
