Today I miss this little cottage. Preparing all these images for your viewing pleasure {i hope!} makes me a bit nostalgic. I wish I were cooking on this stove, and listening to the church bells ring on the hour. This simple life sounds so much better than our busy life in America. On a side note, I've gained a deeper appreciation for the lack of billboards and commercialism in France. Must.simplify.life.more.
Moving on...here are some delightful images of the master suite of La Maisonnette. It's crazy romantic and tranquil too...the killer views aren't to be overlooked either. If you care to see more, you can view additional before + after images of the master suite/attic (as well as other rooms in the cottage) on Design*Sponge. They are pretty kick butt :)

Beautiful! What color did you stain the wood? Such beautiful floors! Wonderful...I need to talk M into committing to a week next year!
ReplyDeleteOOOHHH! So beautiful! I can't believe you came back! You guys totally rocked that cottage. All your hard work really paid off. Thanks for sharing, I loved seeing all your progress, it always brightened my day.
ReplyDeleteJust gorgeous! It has been so fun following your French adventures.
ReplyDeleteOne question: I love the idea of using that wardrobe rack in my Master bedroom (we're a little tight on closet space), but I can't seem to find Habitat online. Is it local to your area?
Andrea, Habitat is a UK-based company so you can only find it in Europe really. Bummer...
ReplyDeleteOh, yeah, I guess I should've realized that you probably purchased it locally when you were over there. I love the simple look of that particular rack, but hopefully I'll be able to find something similar around here. It's a great idea.
ReplyDeleteThanks for responding to my question!
Oh, how exciting to have it all finished. Wish you could be there, too.
