Like the rest of the house, this room just feels happy. Natural light, lots of white, fun patterns and a few antiques make it feel cozy and fresh. The pretty tree outside the window full of pink blossoms certainly adds to the charm. While I don't have any "before" shots of this room, you can probably imagine what it looked like based on what you saw here and here.
P.S. We've just about booked up next summer at La Maisonnette du Coteau (yay!), but I have to tell you dear readers, that May and September are also amazing months to visit; the weather is still pretty warm and the tourists aren't in sight yet. Prices are also lower during those months. Anyway, something to consider...
I love the quality of the light in this room. You have done such a great job! Maybe one day I will get to visit...

ReplyDeleteMonique, I found the pillows at IKEA in France. I bet they have them here in the US too. Blue & white knobs are from Zara Home, rug from IKEA and lamp from BHV Home in Paris. The antiques (nightstand and stool) were purchased in France. Hope that helps!
ReplyDeleteI have loved looking at your Before/After photos. It has been an inspiration personally in my very own home. Thank you, thank you.
ReplyDeleteBEAUTIFUL. I love all the light. I'm curious, though. Did you hire somebody to clean it when people leave, or is that part of the responsibility of renting it? I would worry about all the beautiful things getting dirty while I was away.
ReplyDeleteOoh, I love it!
ReplyDeleteminimalist perfection.

ReplyDeleteOooh I love the crisp blue and white combo. That's my favorite "chambre"!
