stephmodo: Easy Homemade Pizza

Easy Homemade Pizza

• 13 April 2010

I am sharing the recipe our family uses for easy homemade pizza over at Zupas today. It takes about 5-10 minutes to prepare and beats any Boboli crust by a long shot. Oh, and most importantly it is really, really good!

  1. Have you tried the recipe from Pizzeria Bianco in the May 2009 MS Living? We've found that to be our favorite one, hands-down! (my favorite topping combination: fresh basil pesto, grilled eggplant, thin rounds of red onion, and shavings of Parmesan).

  11. Would you mind checking the link for this recipe - it no longer opens the recipe on the Zupas page - I'd love to make your pizza dough, my children are very excited to try it.

  13. Thank you, Stephanie, and I did eventually manage to get to it by scrolling back to when it was posted - but the link is working again and I hope many people will find it and be inspired to try the recipe because it's fantastic. I'll tell you what a hit it has been in our household - we not only use it to make the most delicious pizzas (I like to make them individually sized and we can customise our toppings) - BUT, I have also played around with this oh so easy and fun recipe and added garlic and rosemary and baked it into a divine rustic loaf, and have tried it with a decadent cup of cubed smoked gouda added for another wonderful loaf. When we are feeling more austere we use half wholewheat for a loaf or pizza crusts and it's still fab. As you can see it's positively taken over in our home! Thanks for sharing this and so many other beauties. The photos and instructions are so well done too.

  14. Petra, thanks for letting me know. I love hearing things like that!

Rachael, I have some images from the spread in my binder, but I must've missed their recipe...I'd love their tomato sauce recipe...do you have it?
