4 o'clock on a Saturday
• 06 November 2011
This is what four o'clock in the afternoon looked like on Saturday...messy-just-up-from-a-nap-hair, soft late afternoon light, Baby Gray still in his pajamas (why not? It's Saturday!), giggles and my husband in a hat. The pictures are a bit fuzzy as there was lots of action going on and I accidentally set my camera to the wrong setting in my haste to capture the moment. Truly, it's those small moments that matter, right?
p.s. how my husband and I (both with brown hair and eyes) created 3 blond and blue-eyed children is still something that amazes me, particularly when I see it captured like this. It makes me wish I paid more attention in that genetics class in college :)
Sounds like great Saturday afternoon
ReplyDeleteIt is the small things for sure!
ReplyDeleteI love this! I had the same issue when my husband and daughter were dancing together last night. I got a photo of them with both of their faces super-blurred, but it was definitely a keeper of a photo.
ReplyDeleteLove getting little glimpses like this into your weekend, Steph. It really is those small, simple moments I think we'll remember most when we're old and grey.
