Cooking Class No. 1: Results In
• 07 July 2008
Wow...I had waaaay too much fun hosting this first cooking class a week and a half ago! Given the fact that I had never done anything like this before made me more than a little nervous; but, I found as I met my guests (who were all incredible women), and we started talking {and cooking of course!}, it truly felt like a bonified "Girls Night In". And that my friends, was exactly what I was aiming for~
I cannot wait to host another one...
Which brings me to my next point...I have two spots open for Cooking Class No. 2: Brunch on Saturday, July 19th at 10 a.m. You can read more about it here. If you're interested, please email me (stephmodo@gmail.com). Thanks!
ooh, I love your glasses. They seem simple yet stylish, and maybe even heavy enough to resist the occasional fumbling by a toddler. True? If so, where did you get them>?
ReplyDeleteThe goblets are from Williams Sonoma and the tall casual tumblers are from Mervyns :)
ReplyDeletei'm sure the class was a delight for everyone. wish I could participate. I'm starting to bore of my current repertoire.
ReplyDeleteIt was such a fabulous evening of great food and people! Your table setting was beautiful. If I could I'd love to come to the brunch one too!
ReplyDeleteYou are very talented, just like you sister.
ReplyDeleteWish I was going to be in town :(
ReplyDeletei so wish i lived in SLC...i'd totally sign up for one of your cooking classes!
ReplyDeletei really hope to make it to the next one. it looks wonderful
ReplyDeleteI was really debating about taking the plunge and driving alllll the way up to Utah, when I thought of this: how about for a fee you just mail us the handouts and everything? I know it wouldn't be the same, but recipes work well on paper, your tips on table setting etc could be typed up, and maybe you could have photos of the brunch as examples and exhibits in the papers as well. Just an idea. (Can you tell I've been thinking about attending this really seriously?! I'm trying to get creative here with still making it happen w/o the gas cost! :) ) Anyway, think about it! I'd for sure be in on it!
ReplyDeleteoh darn, i keep missing the party! sounds SO fun though, my sister and i be put on a list for the next one?
